Tennessee State baseball opens the best-of-three College World Series finals on Saturday with Game 1 against Texas A&M in Omaha.
The Vols and Aggies both went 3-0 in the first week of the CWS to advance to the finals. Tennessee easily defeated UNC and Florida State after a 12-11 comeback win over the Seminoles opened CWS play last Friday. Texas A&M defeated Kentucky and Florida after winning a one-point game over the Gators late Saturday night to open the season in Omaha.
Two wins in the next three days are needed to win the national title. The Vols are seeking their first-ever national title.
