NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley announced a campaign Monday to fund the construction of a new facility in Neenah.

Community leaders and club supporters have pledged more than $10 million to the project, and fundraising efforts are underway to cover the total cost of the new club, which is expected to exceed $13 million.

The Boys & Girls Club of Neenah will be the 16th club location in the Fox Valley family, which serves youth in Outagamie, Calumet, Northern Winnebago and Manitowoc counties.

Located on the northwest corner of Byrd and Marathon Avenues, the new 35,000-square-foot club will serve more than 1,000 children and their families annually, officials said. Planned amenities include a Life & Workforce Readiness Center, dance studio, sensory room, three learning centers, family conference room, dining area, playground, fully equipped gymnasium, modern teen lounge and a state-of-the-art Makers Lab.

Greg Lemke-Rochon, executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fox Valley, said in a press release:

We are so excited about this opportunity to provide the youth of Neenah with a safe place, relationships with caring adults, and access to meaningful activities. We believe our new Boys & Girls Club in Neenah will make a difference for many of the young people it will serve over the years. We are so grateful to everyone coming together to support and lead this important initiative.

Groundbreaking is scheduled for September 3. The club will open in fall 2025. Click here to learn more or to donate.
