Volodymyr Zelenskyy speaks in Utah — Chrony

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attended the National Governors Association summer meeting in downtown Salt Lake City on Friday. He had previously been in Washington DC preparing for the 2024 NATO summit. The meeting was also attended by several state governors, Texas actor Matthew McConaughey and hundreds of guests. After an introduction by Utah Governor Spencer Cox and a standing ovation from the audience, Zelensky delivered a speech on stage to mobilize support for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. Governor Cox, President Zelensky and several senior Ukrainian officials later signed a memorandum of understanding between Utah and the province surrounding the Ukrainian capital.
