It’s been a cruel summer for anyone who hasn’t spent the season attending one of Taylor Swift’s sold-out shows on the European leg of her billion-dollar Eras Tour. While the singer spent the weekend performing under the balmy Italian sun in Milan, her friends who made the transatlantic trip to join her abroad offered unprecedented insight into how Swift spends her time between shows.
In fact, Brittany Mahomes shared a sneak peek of her double date with Swift, Travis Kelce and her Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes from their time in Amsterdam on Instagram on July 16. After expressing her love for grey skies and taxi rides in the 2016 single “London Boy” from her seventh studio album, LoverThe singer embodied the codes of the English capital through her romantic, 18th-century-inspired Vivienne Westwood ensemble.
Swift opted for a figure-hugging dress and graphic corset that was more suited to dinner on the Thames than a double date on the city’s canals. The creations were by the late-fashion expert’s husband and current creative director of the eponymous luxury house, Andreas Kronthaler.

Designed for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, Swift’s 1989 blue dress is a contemporary implementation of a design that has its origins in the brand 1997 collection “Vive La Bagatelle.” As the house revealed, the Sunday dress is inspired by high society ladies of 18th century salon culture and features a sculpted, corset-like silhouette that flares into a midi length, complete with the signature bauble embroidered on the hip. Similar to how the piece was styled in the lookbook, Swift paired it with a whalebone corset and the reworked MacAndy tartan pattern underneath.

She completed the ensemble with Vivienne Westwood’s cute heart-shaped tote in a burgundy croc finish and canary yellow platform mules. Mahomes, who has been Swift’s best friend “WAG” since her relationship with the tight end, dressed more casually, though just as luxe, in a sequined two-piece pajama set with jewel-encrusted accessories by Prada.
The Mahomes joined Kelce in the stands during the performance, where Swift serenaded him with a touching surprise song set. Swift dedicated a medley to their relationship, performing a mashup of “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My),” “So High School,” and “Everything Has Changed.” As Mahomes said in her caption, “It was a blast🤍”
