Will Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes surpass Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as the No. 1 power couple?

Don’t worry, Swifties, local Pittsburgh radio host Andrew Fillipponi is not targeting the ever-popular world champion Swift, but he sees the tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs (and terrible karaoke singer) Travis Kelce as the weakest link in the power couple rankings compared to social media superstar and LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne and her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates rookie sensation Paul Skenes.

“Considering how much better Skenes is than Kelce right now,” Fillipponi explains while taking a screenshot The jet-set lifestyle of Dunne and Skenes.

Hmmm… Flamethrower Skenes has had a phenomenal rookie season and deserves his place as a starter in the MLB All-Star Gamebut better than Kelce right now? Sure, Kelce had a poor regular season by his standards, but the guy just won two Super Bowls in a row. He stars in Ryan Murphy’s new horror series Grotesquerie. He’s a surefire Hall of Fame candidate right out of the gate whenever he decides to retire.

When we talk about the hottest new additions to our yet-to-be-determined list of celebrity athlete power couples, Dunne and Skenes are the clear choice. As for number 1, it’s still Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

But we fully respect Fillipponi bringing Skenes back. Locals need to celebrate their guys, and the fact that Dunne and Skenes are even in the conversation is a testament to their meteoric rise this summer.
