Short chance of rain, then pleasant days ahead – Chris

Short chance of rain, then pleasant days ahead – Chris

Skies have cleared after a day of mostly cloudy skies and rain showers across much of the state. Skies will remain clear tonight, with lows of around 18 degrees Celsius.

There is ONE more day of rain chance, then it will start to get drier, according to the forecast. On Tuesday, a strengthening cold front sweeping across Minnesota could bring scattered showers. The best time for this appears to be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., but scattered showers could happen anytime. North winds and dry air should limit heavy rain or heavy showers, but a brief downpour would still be possible. Highs will likely remain above 25 degrees.

A calm and pleasant weather pattern will prevail for the rest of the week. Sunshine and highs around 24 degrees make for a phenomenal Wednesday. This sunny and non-humid weather pattern should continue for the rest of the week, with highs around 24 degrees expected on Thursday and highs around 27 degrees on Friday.

There is currently a very slight chance of rain through the weekend. When the wind comes out of the south, humidity will come back into play, but it shouldn’t be more than a little frizzy. Other than that, the forecast for the coming days is perfect. Not too hot, not too cold, not too humid, and for many, that’s what makes Minnesota summers the best!

Enjoy it!
