Atlantic City woman leads Boys & Girls Club

A lifelong Atlantic City resident who has spent the past decade in various positions at the city’s Boys & Girls Club will take the helm next month

Tracey Triniwell has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Club, effective August 26.

She has already demonstrated her passion for the club, “its mission and the community we serve,” said board chairman Stephen Clark.

“During her tenure, Tracey has served the club serving on the Executive Committee, chaired the Program Committee, and served on the Governance, Finance and Development Committees. She has also served as the club’s Council liaison with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America,” said Clark. “Tracey’s knowledge of the club and her relationships in the community, combined with demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of success, will play a critical role in moving our organization forward and fostering positive change in the community we serve.”

Triniwell has been with AtlantiCare for over a decade and has steadily grown in importance there.

Most recently, she served for over three years as the Administrative Director of AtlantiCare’s Women and Children’s Services, which provides family planning, gynecologic oncology, maternal and child medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, safe childbirth and urogynecology directly to the people of Atlantic City.

In previous roles in compliance, audit and consulting, Triniwell has developed skills in planning, accounting and risk assessment, among others, all of which will benefit her as CEO of the club.

“As a lifelong resident of Atlantic City, I have witnessed the transformative power of civic engagement on our youth,” she said. “I am incredibly honored to lead this influential organization that has been a cornerstone of supporting our community for 55 years. Together with our dedicated team, we will continue to inspire, empower and develop Atlantic County’s next generation of leaders.”

Triniwell earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting from Howard University and then went on to earn a master’s degree in accounting from Rutgers University-Camden.

She currently serves on the board of directors of Brayces Smile for a Lifetime Foundation and OCEAN Inc.

Tracey was inducted into the Atlantic County Women’s Hall of Fame in 2021 and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., The Links, and Jack and Jill of America.
