Deion Sanders’ daughter Deiondra is engaged to R&B singer Jacquees

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is now a father-in-law.

Sanders’ daughter Deiondra and R&B singer Jacquees recently got engaged “over the weekend,” according to TMZ Sports.

Jacquees proposed to Deiondra during a party with family and friends, reading a four-page letter he had written to her over a microphone and then presenting her with a diamond ring.

The couple began dating in 2023, with Deiondra announcing her pregnancy in an Instagram post on March 8 (h/t TMZ Sports).

It was a busy weekend for the Buffaloes head coach as he participated in the 2024 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game on Saturday night.

He will also look to help Colorado build on a 4-8 season in 2023. The Buffaloes should be in better shape during their 2024 season with the return of quarterback Shedeur Sanders and standout two-way player Travis Hunter on the team.

Both players could be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, with the signal-caller setting a school record with 3,230 passing yards in his freshman year. Hunter, on the other hand, shone as a cornerback and made 57 catches for 721 yards as a receiver.

Sanders’ team will look to improve even further in 2024 and fight its way through the Big 12.
