“Jurassic Park” and “Hulk” stars team up for new Netflix series

Untameda new series from Warner Bros. Television and John Wells Productions, will continue on Netflix. The two stars of the film were also revealed: Sam Neill (Jurassic Park) and Eric Bana (Hulk).



By deadline, Untamed was written by Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith. The limited series is described as “Character-driven mystery thriller which follows Kyle Turner (Bana), a special agent for the National Park Service who is committed to enforcing humane laws in the vast wilderness of nature. The investigation of a brutal death puts Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets of the park and his own past.”

Neill plays Paul Souter, the chief park ranger at Yosemite National Park, who has served in that role for half his life. He is also a friend of Bana’s character who is familiar with “all facets of his job, whether it’s crime in the park or the bureaucracy around it.”


The Smiths and Bana are also executive producers

Smith and Smith serve as co-showrunners on the project. They will also serve as executive producers along with Bana, John Wells and Erin Jontow of John Wells Productions. Additional EPs include Todd Black and Tony Shaw of Escape Artists Entertainment, as well as Cliff Roberts of Syndicate Entertainment and Steve Lee Jones of Bee Holder Productions.
