Taylor Swift’s fans – “Swifties” as they call themselves – are once again in an uproar over new Easter eggs they discovered during the pop star’s show. Epoch tour Stop in Milan, Italy.
During her show on Saturday, July 13, Swift wore a new dress for her Department for Tortured Poets set, leaving fans discussing possible hidden meanings. While the dress was quite similar to the other dress the 34-year-old had worn, there was one small but notable difference – new text on the skirt.
While lines from “Fortnight” (featuring Post Malone as a guest appearance and also the first single from TTPD), which is usually wrapped around the singer’s outfit, contained the lyrics of “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?” in the latest version, leading fans to speculate that this song might have something to do with her next single.
One fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted: “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me as the second confirmed single?”, while another hoped: “Let’s get Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me? The movie 🤩.” A third fan commented: “Maybe it’s like the music video era so we get a Waolom video and the Ilyirml dress never comes back??”
Another theory circulating among fans is that Swift could be alluding to the release of Call (Taylor’s version). This speculation was fuelled by her new dress for the Fearless Set that gives fans similarities to outfits from their Call Stadium Tour. Comparing the colors, one fan posted: “These are the colors for the Rep Tour if I’m not mistaken…” Another excited fan said: “REPUTATION TV IS COMING EVERYONE GET READY,” while a third agreed: “WHAT OH MY GOD REPUTATION.”
Despite her stunning new outfits, Swift’s performance was not all glamorous. The 14-time Grammy winner unfortunately caught another virus on stage, her third on stage. Epoch tourSwift announced to the sold-out crowd at San Siro Stadium that she had “swallowed another virus” while coughing before continuing her performance of “I Almost Do” mixed with “The Moment I Knew.”
