“George Strait & Chris Stapleton” – Unlike Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawrence is a country music fan

“George Strait & Chris Stapleton” – Unlike Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawrence is a country music fan

But who isn’t a fan of the King?

Sports fans have always been interested in hearing what kind of music they like to listen to in their free time or before a game to get themselves pumped up. Last year, fans were taken aback when Joe Burrow said he would “pretty much everything except country music”, and many fans gave him advice on how to get started in country music.

The Bengals player may not be a country music fan, but a Jacksonville Jaguars player makes up for it. At the American Century Championship, Lawrence was signing a few hats after his round on the green when an interviewer asked him what the best concert he had attended this summer was. Lawrence was not quick to get to playing and answer.

And I’m excited about what he said.

“This summer I was with George Strait and Chris Stapleton. Really good.”

That’s exactly what I mean: a man with taste.

Trevor Lawrence, if you happen to see this, we’d love to hear a breakdown of your favorite songs and other artists you like. Please, and thanks in advance.

Lawrence was the youngest player in the AC Championship tournament at 24 years old. He played his best on the course but didn’t have the best performance, but hey, it’s all fun at the AC Championship. He finished the tournament in 44th place, with 2 points from the first round and -5 in the second. In the final round of the tournament he had 15, giving him a 54-hole total of 12. Lawrence was tied with Jerome Bettis.
