Holly Marie Combs wrote a heartbreaking tribute to the death of her “better half” and former “Charmed” co-star Shannen Doherty.

“My better half of 31 years. I have a hollow feeling in my chest and can’t seem to breathe. A part of me is missing even though I know exactly what you would say to me right now,” she wrote on Instagram on Monday next to a carousel of pictures of the two of them.

The 50-year-old former “Pretty Little Liars” actress said Doherty’s “immortal spirit” will live on in her and her sons Finley, 20, and Riley, 17, whom the late actress loved like her own children.

“You will walk with your sense of purpose and pride. You will be honest and stand up for what is right. No matter what happens and you don’t care. Your fire will live on in you and the many other Charmed characters you raised,” she wrote.

“A fierce fighter to the end. My most passionate fighter. My loyal protector. My best friend. You taught me what family means. You were and will always be my sister. I love you.”

Combs also shared a video montage of her former “Charmed” co-star in her Instagram story.

On Sunday, Doherty’s longtime press agent Leslie Sloane confirmed to People that the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress had died after a years-long battle with cancer. She was 53 years old.

“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of battling it,” Sloane said.

“The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones and her dog, Bowie. The family asks for privacy at this time so she can grieve in peace.”

Combs and Doherty remained close friends after the latter left Charmed in 2000 when her character died in the third season.

The two had previously claimed that their co-star Alyssa Milano had pressured the broadcaster to fire Doherty.

“‘We were told (by Alyssa) it was her or (Shannen), and Alyssa threatened to sue us for a hostile work environment,'” Combs claimed a producer told her while discussing the incident on Doherty’s “Let’s Be Clear” podcast.

Doherty added that she couldn’t remember ever being mean on set.

Milano, 51, later said she was “sad” about the dispute because it overshadowed the success of the series created by Constance M. Burge, which ran from 1998 to 2006.

“I’m saddest for the fans. I’m saddest that a show that meant so much to so many people has been marred by a toxicity that continues to this day, nearly a quarter century later,” she admitted during a “Charmed” panel at MegaCon Orlando in February.

“I’m sad that people can’t get over it. I’m sad that we can’t all celebrate the success of a show that meant so much to all of us.”

Despite the drama, Milano paid tribute to her friend and foe Doherty after learning of her death.

“It’s no secret that Shannen and I had a complicated relationship, but at the core, this was someone I deeply respected and was in awe of,” Milano said in a statement to Page Six on Sunday.

“She was a talented actress, loved by many, and the world is less without her. My condolences to all who loved her.”
