After retiring from competitive gymnastics, Scott moved to Florida and began coaching young athletes at local YMCAs, eventually opening Scott Johnson’s Tumble and Gymnastics Academy in Winter Springs, Lake Mary, and Apopka. Scott takes a positive approach to teaching, motivating his students and instilling in them a love of the sport.
