Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders are engaged

The couple received a lot of support and love from their friends, including comedian DC Youngfly, singer Monica, rapper Killer Mike and NBA All-Star Trae Young. The “Your Peace” singer shared another post showing how the proposal actually came about.

The video includes several clips from the baby shower, with attendees greeting her and having fun. Jacquee then gives a speech about how the two met. Their engagement comes after they announced the gender of their upcoming child in May. They are expecting a boy. Sanders, the daughter of football legend Deion Sanders, shared a behind-the-scenes YouTube video of them getting ready for the party and said the singer will be picking out her child’s name.

“There’s only one name he mentioned that I really like, and it’s unisex,” Deiondra said. “I said I would wait until I knew the gender before I started choosing a name. But the one he mentioned – I really like that one a lot.”
