Reggae singer Khristopher releases “Down Inna Di Ghetto” with Preditor

New York-based reggae/dancehall singer Khristopher has teamed up with DJ Preditor from Bounty Killa’s Alliance camp to release the single “Down Inna Di Ghetto”, described as a poignant and uplifting anthem for those struggling with poverty and neglect.

Inspired by the harsh reality of life in the ghetto, Khristopher, together with his friend Preditor, wrote the song as a call to action, denouncing the broken promises of politicians and the systematic injustice that perpetuates suffering.

According to a press release from Tuff Gong International, the song was produced for his label Singry Records.

The song showcases Christopher’s soulful vocals and his commitment to social justice.

“I want my music to inspire people to keep going even in the most difficult times,” says Khristopher. “We deserve better and it’s time for our voices to be heard.”

“Down Inna Di Ghetto” is now available on all major streaming platforms distributed by Tuff Gong International.

Khristopher was born Mark Wayne Williams in Falmouth, Trelawny. His mother nicknamed him Khris after his significant birth date, December 25th.

Khristopher enjoyed listening to all kinds of music from a young age and moved to Brooklyn, NY at the age of 12 to continue his education. He frequently visited clubs in the New York area where he pursued his love of music in the dancehall scene.

Khristopher was motivated by the vocal inspiration of reggae artists such as Sanchez, Wayne Wonder and Tony Curtis as well as internationally known artists Marvin Gaye, Brian McKnight and Usher.
