Roomies, Brian McKnight is going viral again. This time for a sweet moment he shared with his youngest son Brian Kainoa Makoa Jr.

At a recent concert, the singer of “Back at One” held his son Brian Jr. in his arms. The little one wore a dark tracksuit and blue headphones, while Brian appeared in a gray suit.

As Brian hit the highest notes, Brian Jr. cheered him on and expressed his excitement at his father’s singing. The crowd quickly erupted into cheers as Brian Jr. clapped along, making the award-winning singer emotional. In the short clip, he can be seen shedding a few tears of joy and giving Brian Jr. a big hug.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Brian McKnight had four children – Brian Jr., Nikolas, Briana and Clyde – with three different women before marrying Leilani.

In recent years, however, the singer has distanced himself from the first three, describing their relationship as equally “mutual.”

In contrast, Brian publicly accepted Leilani’s biological children, Julia and Jack, as his own. When they gave birth to their youngest child, Brian officially changed his own name to match the child’s, a decision that excluded his eldest son Jr.’s name from his legal identity.

According to TSR, Nikolas McKnight has spoken publicly about his ongoing issues with his father and has repeatedly addressed them on social media. In May, he responded to Tyrese for defending his father’s actions. Additionally, in April, Niko and his mother Julie criticized Brian for calling his biological children “evil.”
