Saying goodbye to a ride we all love at Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ

Saying goodbye to a ride we all love at Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ

SAY IT’S NOT TRUE! I just can’t believe it, I have been riding this ride for many years. This ride at Six Flags has created so many memories.

Two of my favorite rides at Six Flags are Skull Mountain and The Dark Knight, both indoor roller coasters. The very first roller coaster my daughter ever rode was Skull Mountain, so it will always bring up those good feelings for me.

With all the new rides at Six Flags Great Adventure over the years, it’s the older ones that we have the most memories of.

It’s funny that we did a Shawn & Sue poll and Skull Mountain won over The Dark Knight as your favorite indoor roller coaster. Skull Mountain is the “big winner.” My husband loves Skull Mountain, he would always choose that one. My daughter chooses that one too.

Ok, enough of the memories, I know you are wondering which ride I am writing about. I know it is a ride you have done many times.

Has the Skyride or Skyway been around forever? What happens to them?

Do they remove it?

The Skyway is one of the oldest rides at Six Flags Great Adventure. Will it be removed?

If you look at the map of the park, you’ll notice that it’s no longer on it. CLICK HERE to view the map. The Skyway is also not mentioned on their website.

I have to say that I have been to Six Flags about five times this year and I have not seen it in operation at all this season. That makes me sad.
