Kalon Gyari Dolma publishes a book titled “The Truth Told by Nyima Lhamo”

Kalon Gyari Dolma will launch the book entitled “The Truth as Told by Nyima Lhamo” on July 12, 2024, together with Geshe Lhador, Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, Geshe Tsering Dorje, Chairman of the Service Committee of Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche, and author Dorjee Rinchen.

Dharamshala: The inauguration of the book titled “The Truth as Told by Nyima Lhamo” (ཉི་མ་ལྷ་མོའི་བདེན་དོན་གླེང་བ་) at Tibet Library Hall also marks the ninth death anniversary of Tulku Tenzin Delek in Chinese custody; the event was held on July 12, 2024 at the Gangkyi Tibet Library Hall.

The event was attended by Kalon Gyari Dolma of the Ministry of Security, Geshe Lhador, Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, Geshe Tsering Dorje, Chairman of the Service Committee of Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche and author Dorjee Rinchen.

The event began with Kalon Gyari Dolma, the guest of honour, ceremonially lighting a butter lamp in front of the portrait of Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche. This was followed by a minute of silent reflection in honour of the Tibetan self-immolators who bravely sacrificed their lives in response to the Chinese government’s oppression.

The distinguished guest officially launched the book with the Tibetan title “The Truth as Told by Nyima Lhamo” by Dorjee Rinchen. Following the book launch, Dorjee Rinchen gave a comprehensive presentation of his work. Afterwards, Nyima Lhamo, the niece of Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche, gave a speech at the book launch via an online platform.

In her speech, Kalon Gyari Dolma, on behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration, sincerely thanked all patriotic people, including Tulku Tenzin Delek, for their great sacrifices and unwavering courage in working for the cause of Tibet. She also stressed the need for solidarity and harmony among Tibetans in promoting the common cause of Tibet.
