Justin Trudeau said in a social media post on X (formerly Twitter): “Stopped by the Rogers Centre to wish Diljit Dosanjh luck before his show.”

The Canadian Prime Minister praised the singer, adding: “Canada is a great country – one where a man from Punjab can make history and fill stadiums. Diversity is not just our strength. It is a superpower.”

In response, the singer posted: “Thank you sir, it was an honor to have you here.”
