Singer Mary Millben sings the national anthem before Trump’s nomination acceptance speech

In the United States and around the world, she is often referred to as America’s “National Anthem Singer.”

Millben has played the national anthem and patriotic music for four consecutive U.S. presidents – President George W. Bush, President Barack Obama, President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden – as well as for international royalty and heads of state such as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“The moment when God protected President Trump’s life in Pennsylvania is clear. The moment when I must strike a note of unity before President Trump accepts his nomination to be the 47th president is clear. And the moment when we must unite as Americans is clear,” she said.

“The moment of the national anthem does that for us. It reminds us that we are all Americans first and foremost. One nation under God. Republican or Democrat means nothing to God. But our love for one another does,” the singer said.

We must return to civility in our democratic process, Millben said. “I pray that my performance and the moment of the national anthem will fill our hearts and souls with love of God, love of our country, love of President Trump and love of one another.” Millben sang the national anthem at the victory ceremony for President Trump’s 58th inauguration and in 2020, as well as at the Republican National Committee convention shortly before President Donald Trump’s official re-nomination.

She was invited by the Donald J. Trump campaign, the Republican National Committee and the Committee on Arrangements of the Republican National Convention, a press release said Sunday. PTI LKJ NB NB
