Uke Perry’s daughter Sophie Perry reacts to Shannen Doherty’s death

Sophie Perrythe daughter of the deceased Luke Perrypaid a touching tribute to Shannen Doherty after her death on Saturday, July 13th.

Sophie took to social media on Sunday, July 14, to share a throwback photo of her father with his former Beverly Hills, 90210 Co-star and on-screen love interest.

The Instagram story featured a photo of Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh in the hit 1990s television series, smiling while Luke, who played Dylan McKay and stood behind her, bit into her pearl necklace.

Sophie’s post was simply captioned with a white heart emoji.

Sophie is also the daughter of Rachel “Minnie” Sharpwho married Luke in November 1993. The couple divorced in 2003 and shared custody of Sophie and her brother. JackHer father died in 2019 at the age of 52 from the effects of a fatal stroke.

Doherty died at the age of 53 after a long battle with cancer.

At the time of Luke’s death, Doherty said People how much she had learned about Luke’s children over the years.

“Luke loved his family,” Doherty told the outlet in 2019. “He raved about his kids and how proud he was of them. He often showed me videos of them.”

Sophie’s Instagram post follows a flood of Hollywood stars, including Doherty’s former 90210 Co-stars have reacted and paid tribute to the Charmed Alum.

Doherty’s spokeswoman confirmed the news of her client’s death to We weekly one day after Doherty’s death.
