Shannen Doherty wanted to have children despite cancer before she died

Followed Shannen Dohertytragic death, new details about her life have come to light.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 Alum died on Saturday, July 13, at the age of 53 following a battle with breast cancer.

Doherty shared shortly before her death that she wanted to become a mother, explaining in a January episode of her podcast “Let’s Be Clear” that she wanted to get pregnant with her ex Kurt Iswarienko.

“I wanted a child not only for myself, but for my husband. I wanted it for our marriage. I wanted him to fill that part of himself, too,” Doherty said. “So when it came time to make that decision, we needed IVF, and I did several rounds of that.”

The family requests privacy during this time so they can grieve in peace.”
