Mercury Studios, Universal Music Group’s innovative and versatile content studio, today announced that it has acquired the rights to distribute the legendary Live from Abbey Road series. Mercury will represent the classic series worldwide after a decade off the screen.

Live from Abbey Road revolutionized music television. Produced by Michael Gleason Between 2006 and 2012, the hybrid performance/documentary format showcased many of the world’s most popular and culturally influential acts in the iconic, intimate setting of Abbey Road Studios (where some of the greatest recordings of all time were made). The show’s mix of live performances and interviews attracted global audiences in over 100 countries, with an outstanding mix of high-profile, up-and-coming, local and international guests. This is as true today as it was then: Live from Abbey Road offers a magical insight into the world of music and its creators.
