Lady Gaga’s friends miss Taylor Kinney amid her relationship with Michael Polansky

It’s been years since superstar Lady Gaga and Chicago Fire’s Taylor Kinney called it quits. They’re both in other relationships. But now, after Kinney married model girlfriend Ashley Cruger last May, Lady Gaga’s friends admit they miss Taylor Kinney in light of the singer’s relationship with Michael Polansky.

“When Gaga is in love, her whole life revolves around her boyfriend,” a source close to the singer said, adding that Polansky, 46, “has charmed her management team and seems to like being in control of her life and career. She doesn’t make any business moves without consulting him. He wants to go everywhere with her. She’s at the point where she doesn’t want to do anything without him being there to hold her hand.”

In 2014, when she was dating Kinney, Gaga said of their relationship, “He’s totally in charge,” adding, “It’s not good for relationships to tell men what to do.”

However, the same source insists that Kinney was special. “He was a much softer person and certainly didn’t interfere in matters that affected her career,” which seems really important considering Gaga’s mental health issues. “Michael’s hanging around isn’t helping. She barely has a moment to herself,” the source added. “Her friends are hoping she comes to her senses soon. No one thinks she’s going to spend the rest of her life with this guy.”

Gaga and Polansky first sparked engagement rumors in April after she was spotted wearing a large diamond ring on her left hand. Then, in June, she was the maid of honor at her sister’s wedding, sparking pregnancy rumors. On TikTok, she denied the pregnancy but did not address the engagement rumors.

“She honestly still seems to be holding on to Taylor – he had a bit of a Prince Charming about him,” the source added. “She hasn’t been the same since and I’ve never seen her as fragile as she was with Michael.”
