Stars react to Shannen Doherty’s death at 53

Honoring celebrities Shannen Dohertywho died on Saturday, July 13, at the age of 53.
“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after battling the disease for many years,” said Doherty’s spokeswoman Leslie Sloane told We weekly in a statement on Sunday, July 14. “The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie. The family asks for their privacy during this time so they can grieve in peace.”

Olivia Munn
Munn, who recently underwent a mastectomy and hysterectomy amid her own battle with breast cancer, shared a poignant message in the comments on Doherty’s June 25 Instagram post.
“Fly so high, my friend 💔💔💔💔”, commented Munn.
Alyssa Milan
Milano starred with Doherty in The WBs Charmed for the first three seasons. Doherty claimed back in December 2023 that Milano was the reason for her firing. (Milano denied the claims at the time.)
