Anna Faris says she “ignored” warning signs in her marriage to Chris Pratt

Anna Faris said she “ignored the warning signs” in her relationship with Chris Pratt.

The actor was married to the Protector of the Galaxy Star from 2009 to 2018, with the couple announcing their separation in a joint statement in August 2017.

They first met when they played a couple in the comedy Take me home tonightwhich was published in 2011.

Now, the actress spoke about her split with both Pratt and her former husband Ben Indra on Monday (May 3) in an episode of her podcast “Anna Faris Is Unqualified,” saying, “At some point, I realized there were a lot of things that I had ignored and that I really shouldn’t have ignored.”

She told guest Rachel Bilson: “Looking back, I feel like I was forced into it. I don’t think it was ever an independent decision.”

Faris, who appears in the sitcom mummysaid she found it difficult to open up to friends about the problems she had during her marriage to Marvel star Pratt.

“I never talked about any issues,” she said. “I think with Chris, we both protected this footage even in our closest circles.”

She said she got married because “everyone expected it.”

“I really think that calling off an engagement is a smarter, more decisive and braver move than what I did. Because I said, ‘Well, I guess everyone is expecting this, so let’s just go for it,'” Faris said.

Faris and Pratt, whose divorce became final in 2018, have an eight-year-old son together named Jack.

She is currently engaged to cinematographer Michael Barrett, while Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019.
