Why Travis Kelce didn’t make it to Taylor Swift’s Eras tour shows in Milan

Taylor Swift performed in Milan, Italy on July 13 and 14, but her boyfriend Travis Kelce was not in the audience. The NFL star has been back in the USA since last week. On Friday he played in the American Century Championship golf tournament with his brother Jason Kelce.

He was caught dancing to a remix of Swift’s “Lavender Haze” on the 17th hole, in a Video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter. The event took place at Lake Tahoe in Nevada, and although they weren’t together, they were thinking about each other. That same evening, Swift liked a post naming Kelce the best tight end in the NFL.

“ESPN surveyed coaches, executives and scouts to name their top 10 tight ends in the NFL and Travis ranks No. 1 in the league!” the post on Instagram said.

And at the celebrity tournament, Travis also thought of Swift after winning a karaoke contest with his performance of Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again.” In his acceptance speech, he told the audience, “Taylor, this is for you.”

Kelce has just returned from a European trip that included Swift’s shows in London, Dublin and Amsterdam. He even performed on stage at Wembley Stadium one night, playfully dancing onstage with his girlfriend in a top hat and tuxedo. He eventually carried her off the stage at the finale of the transition skit. He will soon be heading off to training camp for the next NFL season.

A source said People In early July, Kelce tried to make Swift feel special even though they are apart.

“Football is definitely still a priority for him, but so is his relationship,” the source explained. “He makes romantic gestures to show he’s thinking of her when they’re apart. She will try to attend as many games as possible.”
