Many new names for the Spartacus: House of Ashur series

A few months after the announcement of the official development of Spartacus: The House of Ashura new series in Spartacus Universe, Starz lines up new names to play with Nick TarabayAccording to Deadline, eight actors and actresses are joining the cast of the series, which was created by Steven S. DeKnight, the creator of the original show.

Currently in production in New Zealand, Spartacus: The House of Ashur answers the following questions: “What if Ashur hadn’t died on Vesuvius at the end of Spartacus: Vengeance? And what if he had been given the gladiator school that once belonged to Batiatus in exchange for helping the Romans kill Spartacus and end the slave revolt?” Hypothetical questions that arise in this new Spartacus Series, with Graham McTavish (Outlander, House of the Dragon), Tenika Davis (Jupiter’s legacy, Beacon 23), Jamaica Vaughan (Summer bat, 800 words), Ivana Baquero (The Shannara Chronicles, Alta Mar), Jordi Webber (Summer Bay, Power Rangers), Claudia Black (Distant landscape, Stargate SG-1), India Shaw-Smith (Vanity Fair) And Leigh Gill (joker, game of Thrones).

Graham McTavish plays Korris, a former gladiator who fought for his freedom in the arena and is now responsible for training the gladiators of Ashur’s Ludus. Tenika Davis plays Achillia, a gladiator who wants to outdo her male opponents, while Jamaica Vaughan will play Hilara, a young slave who is deeply in love with Ashur. Ivana Baquero will play Messia, one of Hilara’s slaves, while Jordi Webber takes on the role of Tarchon, a cheeky and stubborn gladiator. Claudia Black plays Cossutia, a politician who is constantly plotting against Ashur to overthrow him, while India Shaw-Smith will play Viridia, Cossutia’s daughter. Leigh Gill will play Satyrus, the leader of a rival ludus.

The first season of Spartacus: The House of Ashur will consist of 10 episodes. A broadcast date has not yet been announced.
