Taylor Swift swallows a bug again during the Milan “Eras Tour” show

Taylor Swift accidentally swallowed another beetle Epoch Tour.

During the acoustic part of Swift’s first Milan concert on Saturday, July 13, Red‘s “I Almost Do” on the piano. Shortly after she began the 2012 song, Swift, 34, stopped playing and began coughing.

“I knew it was going to happen because there are so many bugs here tonight,” Swift, 34, told the crowd. “Hold on, I just need to cough for a minute.”

The pop star continued the song, which ended as a mashup of “I Almost Do” and “The Moment I Know.” (Swift combined a medley of “The 1” and “Wonderland” shortly before during her surprise guitar selection.)

Since kicking off her Eras Tour in March, Swift has blown away fans and critics alike with her impressive, record-breaking concert, which lasted over three and a half hours and saw the singer perform a setlist of 44 (…).

This is not the first time Swift has eaten an insect. She has previously swallowed bugs during Eras Stops in Chicago and London respectively. (The Chicago show took place in June 2023, a year before their performance at London’s Wembley Stadium.)

On Saturday, Swift performed her first of two back-to-back concerts at Milan’s San Siro stadium and she used the fashion capital to debut some new outfits. During her respective Fearless, 1989 And The “Tortured Poets” section Sets, Swift rocked brand new looks. She swapped her usual Fearless-style flapper dress for a black and gold, chevron bodysuit. Fans have noticed that the colors and patterns are similar to outfits she wore at her 2018 Call World Travel.

Swift wore a matching Roberto Cavalli set in teal during her 1989 Section. For TTPDSwift’s white dress bore the words “Who’s afraid of little old me?” instead of the usual “I love you, it’s ruining my life.”

Swift also improvised part of her “Midnight Rain” choreography during the midnight Part of the show, in which she again mimes archery while singing, “He never thinks about me except when I’m on TV.” The archer pose has become a symbol for Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelcewho is present at every NFL game with the same action.

“I always wanted to do something when I ran out of the tunnel,” Kelce explained in an October 2023 episode of his podcast “New Heights.” “I was like, ‘Man, you know what really motivated me?’ Always dreaming big (and) always reaching for the stars, so I’m just out there reaching for the stars, baby.”

Swift began dating Kelce, 34, in the summer of 2023. Since then, he has been an integral part of the Epoch Tour between his NFL commitments. He was absent on Saturday, however, as the show clashed with the 35th annual American Century Championship charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, California, but Swift was still on his mind.

“You still have Taylor,” one fan shouted as Kelce struggled with his tee.

The NFL star replied: “You’re not lying. Thanks for that.”
