What is the “Many Men” meme? A 50 Cent song about surviving attacks has long been a meme signaling toughness and resilience. But it’s been heavily used following the shooting of Donald Trump.

The song from 50 Cent’s album “Get Rich or Die Tryin” brings attitude with the intro:

Many men wish me dead

Blood in my eye, buddy, and I can’t see

I try to be what I am destined to be

And (N—) tries to take my life (Come on)

Almost immediately after Trump’s assassination on July 13, video footage of a rebellious Donald Trump with a blood-smeared face was published on the Internet for this song.

The rapper posted a Get rich or die trying’ Saturday night cover edit with Trump’s face on his body.

Previously, he shared the new meme usage.

It’s been a busy week for the rapper and entrepreneur. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson walked into the Capitol on Wednesday, leading a campaign aimed at increasing the representation of minorities in the multi-billion dollar spirits industry.

The rapper has previously described the “nine painful moments” he has lived through in his life, which echoes in his song 9 Shots. The song recalls the infamous 2000 shooting that became a major part of Jackson’s story, where 50 Cent survived nine gunshot wounds, including one to the face.

“We only rap about what we’ve experienced,” says “This Is New York” rapper ScarLip. “When we rap about guns, when we rap about murderers, when we rap about all these things… that’s the environment we were put in.”

Jackson, best known as a musician and for his successful spirits brand Sire Spirits, was joined this week by renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump as they met with lawmakers from across the political spectrum, including members of the Congressional Black Caucus, to advocate for minority representation in the luxury spirits industry.

Jackson met this week with leaders from both parties, including House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, and described the meetings as positive.

Last year, 50 Cent toured to celebrate the anniversary of his multiplatinum debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, released on Eminem’s Shady Records.
