Tripti Dimri-Vicky Kaushal song ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ disappoints fans, netizens say ‘Don’t spoil old songs’

New Delhi: A new song called “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam” was released on Sunday (July 14) for the upcoming romantic comedy “Bad Newz” starring Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk. The song, which features all three main protagonists, is a cover of a Shah Rukh Khan song from the 1998 film “Duplicate”. The song received a lot of negative feedback soon after its release. Fans say the producers ruined the iconic song with an “unnecessary” remix and they are not happy about it.

The music video for the love song ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ features Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. The song has been reworked by Lijo George and DJ Chetas, while the original was sung by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan.
