“I knew it would happen”: Taylor Swift swallows another beetle at the Eras Tour concert in Milan

Taylor Swift has joined the billionaires club thanks to the success of her albums and Eras tour concerts. Her fans, known as Swifties, are her loyal soulmates who support and cheer her on and make her shows a huge success. Her concerts are not only entertaining and larger than life, but also quite dramatic, reflecting her authenticity and connection with her fans.

During another concert of the Eras tour in Milan, Italy, which was part of her European leg, Taylor Swift was interrupted not by a fan or paparazzi, but by a bug — again! At the San Siro Stadium on Saturday, July 13, the pop icon began coughing after swallowing a bug during the secret songs portion of the show. “I knew it was going to happen because there are so many bugs here tonight,” she told the anxious crowd during her surprise mashup of “I Almost Do” and “The Moment I Knew.”

Taylor Swift’s concert in Milan served some serious fashion goals

After swallowing the bug, Swift said, “I’m going to be OK, I just need to cough a little bit,” before continuing with the show like the queen she is. Ironically, she had previously swallowed bugs at Era Tours shows in London in June and Chicago in 2023.

Aside from the bug moment, Swift’s show in Milan included some serious fashion goals that made her fans go crazy for the pop icon. The first outfit that caught fans’ attention was her Fearless-era costume, which featured black and gold patterns that flared outward from the center.

Additionally, she wore a matching turquoise set for the 1989 portion of the show, a first for that color combination. The cherry on top of her outfit choice was her appearance on Tortured Poets Department, when she wore a white dress with the lyrics of “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” printed on it in cursive, making her look as stunning as ever.

More about their Eras Tour concerts in 2024

Swift’s performance in Milan comes after the singer performed two nights of her three-and-a-half-hour Eras Tour in Zurich on July 9 and 10. These concerts are so well put together that they are now not just simple concerts, but an experience. On July 9, Swift celebrated her 113th performance of the Eras Tour by playing several of her famous songs to the Swiss audience, including AlwaysIt’s right where you left me.

Before her shows in Switzerland, Swift performed for three nights in Amsterdam. On July 6, her boyfriend Travis Kelce was also there to cheer on his loved one.

Swift currently has two shows in Milan and will conclude the European leg of the tour in August with five nights at Wembley Stadium in London before returning across the pond for the final North American leg.
