Donna Kelce takes part in “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story”

We learned at the Summer 2024 Television Critics Association Press ReleaseurThere were additions to the cast of “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story”. Tyler Hynes, Hunter King, And Ed Begley had already been announced as stars of the film. In addition Diedrich Bader (American housewife), Megyn Price (Rules of engagement), Richard Riehle (Office space) And Christine Ebersole (Bob Herzen Abishola), was added to the cast.

Not to mention all the Chiefs football players that have been announced. Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy ReidChief Guard Trey SmithWide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr.Back Race Clyde Edwards-HelaireDefensive End Georg Karlaftis and other players who will be drafted later. The film also features a special appearance by Taylor BiggsChiefs fan and correspondent on the red carpet.

But now we have perhaps the most important addition to the cast – Donna Kelce. She will play the manager of Kansas City BBQ restaurant Norma & Nic’s.

“See who’s joining @hunterking and @tyler_hynes in #HolidayTouchdown: A @Chiefs Love Story!” Hallmark shared a video announcement on its Instagram account with the caption, “Please welcome America’s football mom @donnakelce to the cast. Don’t miss the world premiere later this year during #CountdownToChristmas.”

Hunter King plays Alana Higman, who is sure that her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs Superfans make her one of the favorites for the team’s Fan of the Year contest. Tyler Hynes plays Derrick, Director of Fan Engagement, who is tasked with judging how Alana and her family compare to the other two finalists. As the two spend time together, it’s clear that there’s a spark between them, but when her grandfather (Ed Begley Jr.) Vintage Chiefs, a winter hat with the symbol of good luck goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate and destiny, and even questions her future with Derrick – unless a little Christmas magic can trigger a Hail Mary.
