Taylor Swift was overwhelmed with emotions last night

Taylor Swift was overcome with emotion in Italy last night when fans at her Milan concert made a big, unexpected gesture.

Italian fans organized a huge show of love, affection and appreciation for the 34-year-old hitmaker during her performance of Enchanted as part of the Speak Now set. Almost all of the fans in the stadium held signs that read: “We are delighted to see you again after 13 years,” referring to the fact that it had been 13 years since Taylor had performed for Italian fans.

Additionally, the pieces of paper that all the fans were holding up had instructions written on them that said fans should hold the signs up before Taylor sang the first chorus. And as the fans held up the signs with the sweet message, Taylor was visibly moved to see how thousands of fans had joined in.

Taylor looked visibly shocked

Someone on X, formerly Twitter, shared a video of Taylor noticing the signs. They wrote, “Taylor’s reaction when she saw the fans’ signs: ‘Oh my god they’re everywhere OH MY GOD.'” Someone replied, “The pure happiness on her face.”

Taylor was clearly stunned by the tremendous outpouring of love from her fans, even mouthing the words “Oh my God” and “They’re everywhere” as she surveyed the stadium and pointed her finger at them.

Someone else said on X: “Her eyes, her smile and ‘thank you’… this is so sweet.” While a third wrote: “I’m literally crying this is so precious.” And a fourth gushed: “She deserves the world.”

This comes as speculation continues to swirl about what the singer’s new outfits might mean, after she debuted two new looks for the sets of Fearless and The Tortured Poets Department at her Eras tour show last night.

July 13 was Taylor’s first night in Milan and fans of the hitmaker were convinced there would be an announcement. Although neither Reputation (Taylor’s Version) nor a music video for I Can Do It With A Broken Heart (the next single from The Tortured Poets Department) were announced, Taylor rocked two brand new outfits that sparked speculation.
