Disney and Frozen

It is hard to believe that Frozen (2013) turns 11 this November. The musical blockbuster epic changed the Walt Disney Company forever and became the studio’s most successful animated film. Frozen 2 (2019) came out six years later, the record would be broken.

The story of the two sisters Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel), a series of hits including “Let It Go”, and a handful of lovable supporting characters such as Olaf the Snowman (Josh Gad), Frozen remains one of the most popular entries in the Disney animation canon of all time.

Frozen III was announced as Chief Executive Officer upon Bob Iger’s return to the House of Mouse. Iger announced that new films in the Toy history And Frozen Franchises and a sequel to Zootopia (2016) were on the way.

This came after the studio struggled to make a splash in 2022, with light year (2022) and Strange world (2022) both flopped at the box office.

Next up for Disney is November Vaiana 2 – The Great Adventure (2024). The surprising announcement of a second Vaiana – The wonderful world of love The film came so early, earlier this year.
